Prosím o radu, na iNaturalist jsem dostala k úpravě u taxonu tento komentář:

That can't be right; A. abruptibulbus was published in 1905 and Agaricus essettei was published in 1983. If they were synonyms, it would be the other way around, A. abruptibulbus would be the correct name.

I think instead of a synonymy, this is probably a case of a misapplication of A. abruptibulbus to European material which is in fact A. essettei. This is supported by some other sources, like the Checklist of British and Irish Basidiomycota, which says that European authors have misused A. abruptibulbus to refer to A. essettei, which it has as also a synonym of A. sylvicola (http://www.basidiochecklist.info/DisplayResults.asp?intGBNum=47897). I think the better question here is whether A. essettei should be swapped into A. sylvicola or not. Perhaps A. abruptibulbus could also be split so European identifications would also end up being A. essettei or A. sylvicola.
