The genus name Dominikia Borowski & Wegrzynowicz, 2007 has been desiganted as a junior subjective synonym of the genus Bostrychopsis Lesne, 1905 by Ivie, (2010), new synonymy, due to a complicated sequence of events that included the designation of a misidentified species as a type species and more.
