I'm sorry to tell You your geography clasification is wrong.
Chiapas IS NOT PART of the Península de Yucatán... Yes, is in the mayan area, BUT is not part of the Península de Yucatán because the Península is formed by 3 States: Campeche, Quintana Roo and Yucatán.
I hope you corect your geography description.
