If the finding place is Victoria, the shell could possibly be Acrosterigma cygnorum, but I have still doubts. I think it in some aspects can fit the description (and drawing) in Allan: Australian shells. If it is Acrosterigma cygnorum it should be not much bigger than 60 mm (between 40 and 60 is normal). My doubt is in the strong dentification.
