Hello,

I have have many of the Wharf Borer appearing in my bedroom over the last week. I have read that these do not bite. However, one night I was biten on the leg in three places and it resulted in swelling and itching for two days. I found a wharf beetle at the foot of my bed the following morning. Hence I suspect these do infact bite on occassion. Can you please comment by e-mail to pauliefarrand@hotmail.com

Many thanks for your help.

Paul
