Hello,
This photo doesn't show a Cacicus haemorrhous, but a male Ramphocelus costaricensis or R. passerinii. Males of these two species can hardly be distinguished from a photo and your locality is located quite in the centre of Costa Rica (R. costaricensis occurs on the Pacific, R. passerinii on the Atlantic side).
