Ficus howelli: Shell pyriform, thin, rather small (maximal length probably not exceeding 50 mm), light yellowish brown in color with 6-12 spiral rows of small reddish brown dots, which are more widely spaced in males than in females. Whorls about five when shell is fully grown, 4,5 to 4,75 in specimens approximately 35 mm in length. Sculpture closely cancellate, the spiral cords increasing in number by intercalation.
