Shell about 8 mm, medium sized, lightweight, solid, and elongated oval. Spire covered by callus. Body whorl elongated oval less inflated, and rounded, about 85% of total height, with both terminals slightly produced. Anterior terminal tip blunt, posterior tip slightly protruded. Dorsum profile roundly trapezoidal with summit at posterior third, completely covered by fine ribs - about 22 -with a deeply incised, narrow, clearly defined sulcus mid-dorsally that bisects the ribs. Ventrum almost flat with recurved terminals. Aperture narrow over its entire length widened only barely at the fossular section. Aperture slightly curved. Labrum roundly callused, narrow, slightly curved, keeled towards its inner margin. Labrum bears on its inner margin 13 slightly thickened denticles. Siphonal and anal canals follow the shell profile. Columella straight, interior margin slightly curved, narrow and tapering steeply inwards. Parietal lip slightly sinuous, rounded, crossed by 16 ribs on average. Ribs slightly thickened at parietal lip, becoming finer onto columella and thickened again at interior columellar margin. Fossula concave and not clearly delimited from the rest of the columella. Inner fossular edge slightly protruded. Shell colour black with two whitish patches on mid-dorsum. Dorsal ribs with numerous whitish dots. Margins and ventrum dark reddish brown with ribs of lighter colour. Dorsal sulcus, terminal tips, columella, fossula, and canals white.

Five specimens were studied. One is almost identical to the holotype. The other shells are of lighter dorsal colour. The shell inflation varies. In some shells the dorsal sulcus is broadened, and the ribs are bisected within the furrow - their appearance become close to P. pediculus, but the coloration distinguishes them. L=8- 10, W = 71 - 72% of length, LT= 14- 15, CT = 13 - 14, RR = 18 - 20; data based on 4 specimens.
