Description

Shell usually is large or, sometimes, rather small in size, slender or broadly-fusiform. Siphon is short, wide. Spiral sculpture consists of ribs and keels. Axial sculpture consists of growth lines only. Shell is covered with thick greenish periostracum, which sometimes forms bristles.
