Přirozené populace žijí pouze na ostrůvcích Fish Cay a North Cay a menší skupina leguánů byla vysazena na dalším malém ostrově.

Importance

Patří mezi druhy ohrožené, přirozená populace čítá asi 13000 jedinců, vysazená má okolo 300 kusů.
