My biggest botanical hobby are the endangered and uncommon taxas, especially from the Czech flora. I found them during my journeys up hill and down dale and I am always trying to improve my skills in this direction. So synantropic and weedy vegetation says nothing to me... :)
I really falled in love with noteless herbs called Thesium, from the sandalwood family and that´s why I also like the lifelong work of Czech botanic - Radovan Hendrych on this genus.
As for my favourite botanical destination certainly belongs Pálava and the Dunajevicke hills, together with the Luzicke Mts., Doksy and Šluknov region.
From the fytogeographical point of view I am interested in panonian flora, which is slightly connected with "great" places like white alcali soil.
I study at Palacky University in Olomouc - conservation biology. But I often reduce the study only at flowers, because the botanics here in Olomouc is the best one, so hope I will enjoy another years here... :)
