Determination note

Ajuga pyramidalis can be excluded because it is supposed to have bracts which are longer (usually about twice as long) as the flowers (which are usually pale blue or purple, not bright blue). This specimen looks much more like Ajuga reptans, but some exotic other might be possible in a botanical garden.
