If you're interested only in certain taxonomic group, for example only plants or even more narrow group, you can restrict some of the functions (such as Search function) to the selected group - so that for example only species of plants are returned in search results.
Taxon restriction (filtering) can be set in Settings function. This way you will restrict functions globally, BioLib will remember the settings and use it on all functions that can be restricted to taxonomic group. These functions can be also restricted locally, for example for one single search, and the filter is lost when you leave the function.
